On October 15, 2023, MilSpeak Books and Tantor Audio will publish Andria’s second now, The Waiting World. Set in early 20th century Maine at the mansion of a larger-than-life magnate Titus McAvoy, the novel follows the story of McAvoy’s driver John, a British World War I veteran and the two Irish housemaids, Nessa and Aoife, who befriend him. Through their intertwined stories, Andria illuminates the dark underbelly of how the rich treat the poor, the pervasive rot of nationalist and racist behavior, and the dangers that too often befall women
